Until sometime back I was only an educator and a consultant, teaching little monsters with beautiful eyes. But now I'm also a blogger. Yippy!
Having taught business and marketing to the real monsters at a private university, one day I learnt from a friend teaching school kids, that they could get me candy on their birthdays, that was the game changer for me. Little did I know they also brought diapers. And of course there are no free lunches in life, the kids make sure you burn out all the free candy before you leave school. Jokes apart I love kids ( not that I don't love candy) and being around them makes me feel more alive.
Some people ask me why the sudden switch?
So, life was going good and all was hunky dory until one day I decided to get married. Story of everyone's life, isn't it? Which made me want to take a break for a bit. By the time I was ready to step out again, along came this opportunity to make the real difference. Teach at the foundation level.
I think every educator wants to make a difference and I felt the impact that primary education can have on the world is inequitable.
My dad once told me, if you manufacture raw material you will never be out of business. And trust me business is good!!
Besides my occupation I’m a mother of two, a self proclaimed writer, an earth shattering bathroom singer and a husband slayer. Occasionally I allow the Gym the privilege of my company, I love nature walks and beaches (also the cheap colourful cocktails you get there).
With every passing day we can see parents and educators striving hard to give the best to their children but as we know everyone is spoilt or sometimes pressed for choice.
My mission is to help distressed parents seeking assistance in taking decisions for their child in accordance with their strengths and abilities and to train educators to strengthen their concepts and make strategies to encourage constructive learning in class. Educators play an important role in shaping a child's life, it's important to upgrade and improvise teaching strategies from time to time.
My vision is to empower every little one I meet to unleash their true potential through nurturing socio-emotional skills and positive parenting. I believe children are natural explorers until conditioned.
